FOUR-YEAR-OLD mare Tanzanite has bounced back to winning form in emphatic fashion.

She led all the way in a Sunshine Coast Class 1 (1200m) before coasting home to win by nearly four lengths.

It was reminiscent of her maiden win at the same track three starts back in November.

"It was great to see Tanzanite get back to winning form after a very unlucky run last start when she missed the start,'' said trainer Stuart Kendrick.

"She is owned by Ross and Judy Cutts, who bred her from the good mare they raced Advisable,'' he said.

Ridden by Jim Byrne, Tanzanite ($19) set a solid tempo in front and still had too much dash for her rivals at the end of the race on a Friday night, January 30.

"She went straight to the front and led the whole way, similar to what she did when she won her maiden,'' said Kendrick.

"We will look for a fillies and mares midweek race for her next start."
