LIGHTLY-RACED four-year-old Le Jeu has made a statement with a stunning first-up win.

The Jet Spur mare, a full sister to another of the stable's well performed gallopers Spur Le Jouer, gapped her rivals when resuming on a heavy track at Ipswich on Friday, September 16.

Having her first start since May, Le Jeu ($4) raced away to win by nearly six lengths with Ryan Wiggins onboard at her fifth career start.

"She really put it all together and it was exciting to see,'' trainer Stuart Kendrick said.

"She'd won a trial last month so we knew she was in good order going into the race,'' he said.
