NOT A SINGLE Doubt gelding Patronizing has made it two midweek city wins from his past three starts.

The Darby Racing-syndicated four-year-old scored a dominant win off a hot speed in a CG&E Class 4 (1200m) at Ipswich on Wednesday, July 27.

Ridden by James Orman, Patronizing ($5.50) won by two-and-three quarter lengths.

“He should measure up to a Brisbane Saturday race over the next few weeks,” said trainer Stuart Kendrick.

“He appreciates plenty of speed on,’’ he said.

Patronizing, which also won the same class and distance at Doomben two starts back, now has five wins and 10 placings from 31 career starts.

Kendrick Racing has shown faith in the family.

“We have his half-sister Liberty Lass and also bought the Dundeel half-brother as well,’’ Kendrick said.
