A REMARKABLE finishing burst has handed Mymming a well-deserved metropolitan win.

The Stratum four-year-old mare stormed home to take out a 0MW (1400m) at Eagle Farm on Saturday, April 13.

Ridden by comeback jockey Sean Cormack, Mymming ($11) arrived just in time to secure the thrilling win..

"It was a great ride by Sean Cormack, coming back from injury,'' said trainer Stuart Kendrick.

"The was a well-deserved win for the mare, which had been unlucky not to rack up a metropolitan victory earlier, and a great reward for her loyal owners,'' he said.

"We'll look for some nice fillies and mares races for her over the carnival."

The victory was Mymming's second in a row after scoring in a Class 4 (1200m) at the Sunshine Coast last start.

She now has a record of five wins and 10 placings from 20 starts.
