HINCHINBROOK two-year-old Cabaret Caper's Rockhampton win is sure to peak the interest of buyers.

"It was a good win but he is going on the Inglis auction site," said trainer Stuart Kendrick.

Cabaret Caper ($2.70-fav), ridden by Brad Pengelly, broke through at his third career start, winning a QTIS 2YO Maiden (1300m) by a half-length on Tuesday, May 28.

"He was the cheapest horse out of the Easter sale last year,'' Kendrick said.

The win extended Kendrick Racing's fantastic run of success with two-year-olds in the current season.

"That's about a dozen two-year-old winners we've had,'' Kendrick said.
