SPEEDSTER Tarzan is king of the Sunshine Coast jungle again.
Back to his home track, where he holds track record, and on a firmer surface he showed what he could do over 1000m on Sunday, June 9.
Ridden by Luke Tarrant, Tarzan ($4.60) controlled the race from the front before racing away in the straight to win by nearly three lengths.
"He looks terrific and his work has been great," said trainer Stuart Kendrick.
"It makes a a difference when he can find the front. He will start on Caloundra Cup day in an Open (1000m)."
It was Tarzan's 12th career win. He loves his home track, with eight wins and four seconds from 14 starts at the circuit.
