JET Spur two-year-old Star of Michelin was sporting some famous colours in his Eagle Farm win.

His owners Ross and Judy Cutts have owned the likes of Woorim and Show A Heart, as well as Star of Michelin's dam Conca Bella.

"It was great to see Ross and Judy Cutts' colours back in the winners stall in town,'' said trainer Stuart Kendrick.

"They bred this two-year-old and he has always shown he can gallop, but is a big immature bloke,'' he said.

Star of Michelin ($41), ridden by Matt McGillivray, won a 2YO (1400m) at his second career start on Wednesday, June 26.

The win came as a surprise for many, but not connections.

"We thought he was a chance first start but he got into a lot of trouble and run off his legs over the short trip (1000m),'' said Kendrick.

"He was much better over further and might be a very nice three-year-old miler,'' he said.
