INFORM sprinter I Dream Of Green is certainly fulfilling the hopes and dreams of connections.

The four-year-old gelding made it two wins in a row back from a spell with a metropolitan win at Doomben on Saturday, September 14.

Ridden by apprentice Stephanie Thornton, I Dream Of Green ($21) led all the way to win a Class 3 Plate (1200m) by one-and-a-quarter lengths.

"It was a terrific win as he had to come from the outside gate,'' said trainer Stuart Kendrick.

"It was a great ride by Stephanie. She got him across to the find the front and rated him perfectly in front,'' he said.

"He never looked like being run down in the straight."

I Dream Of Green resumed with a win in an Ipswich CG&E Class 3 (1200m) on September 4.

The follow-up Doomben victory took his record to four wins and four placings from 16 career starts.

"Hopefully there are plenty of more wins in store,'' Kendrick said.
