I AM Invincible mare Winter Passage is likely to head back to town next start after a confidence-boosting win in Sunday grade.
The four-year-old broke through at her third run this preparation, easily winning a Class 5 (1200m) at the Sunshine Coast on December 29.
Ridden by Luke Tarrant, she was backed like she couldn't lose to start $1.60 favourite and won accordingly by two lengths.
"We wanted to get her confidence back up so we brought her back to Sunday grade,'' said trainer Stuart Kendrick.
"She didn't have much luck last start but was given the run of the race by Luke today and finished it off really well,'' he said.
"We'll look to go back into town with her next start."
